Dickson Commiserates With Families Of Bayelsa Queens Fans Club & Barrister Smooth Music Band Crew

The Senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District, Henry Seriake Dickson has commiserated with families of Bayelsa Queens Fans Club and Barrister Smooth Music Band Crew who lost their lives in ghastly motor accidents on Sunday 10th June, 2023.

Senator Dickson made this known through his social media handles on Monday. The statement read in parts:

“Last night and this morning, I received the sad news of the passing of a number of our people in two tragic motor incidents.

“One involving Bayelsa Queens fans club members travelling from Delta State and the second, members of the musical troupe of a prominent Ijaw Musician, Barrister Smooth.

“On behalf of my Family, I condole with the families of the deceased and pray that God should give their souls eternal repose.

“For those who are injured and are receiving treatment, we pray for their speedy recovery.

“I also use this opportunity to urge those travelling to Abuja to felicitate with elected officials to exercise care because of the rainy season and the number of commuters on the road at this time.

“For those who are here safely, we thank God and pray that God will grant them journey mercies back.

“On behalf of my family, my constituents, and well-wishers, I appreciate all who have found time to come and celebrate with us.
