Senator Dickson Receives Rousing Welcome From Constituents At Bayelsa International Airport

The Former Governor and Senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District, His Excellency, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, received a rousing welcome from constituents at the Bayelsa international airport.

The former Governor and performing Senator was overwhelmingly received by a mammoth crowd of traditional leaders, political leaders, stakeholders, elders, women and youths across the senatorial district.

Senator Dickson in his usual practice and engagement of the people of his primary constituency, perceived it necessary and pertinent to attend some important functions to always keep in touch with the people.

As a grassroot politician who is always keeping in touch with the people at the grassroot level, Senator Dickson extended his visit to his country home Toru-Orua community to interact and engage the people.

Senator Dickson on arrival at his country home Toru-Orua, received a warmed welcome by elders, women and youths of the community and the senatorial district with different forms of traditional entertainment.

It is a usual practice of traditional leaders, political leaders, stakeholders, elders women and youth bodies come out in different traditional attires to welcome the Ofuruma-Pepe home whenever he is visiting the state on regular basis.

The former Governor and serving Senator enjoys continuous massive support from his constituents and the state, as a result of his legacy, leadership attributes, and his close relationship with the people of the state, mostly at the grassroot level.
