Group Condemns Jude’s False Claims Against Tompolo, Otuaro

…Says amnesty administrator has repositioned amnesty programme

The attention of the Niger Delta Peace Advocates (NDPA) has been drawn to the malicious false allegations of one Mr Jude Gbaboyor against the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Chief Dennis Otuaro, Ph.D.

One Mr Jude Gbaboyor from Isoko South in Delta State who is a known blackmailer, made some fallacious allegations claiming that the amnesty boss, Dr. Dennis Otuaro has been siphoning funds meant for scholarship students under the presidential amnesty programme.

In a statement issued by the Group Coordinator, General Patrick James, described the mischievous claims of the serial blackmailer, Mr Jude Gbaboyor as misleading and misrepresentation of facts tending to create a public misconception.

The group said Mr Jude who is a former staff of the presidential amnesty programme, has resulted to blackmailing the amnesty administrator for the fact that he refused to reinstate him as a staff of the federal amnesty programme.

General James stated that the serial blackmailer was removed from office as a staff of the presidential amnesty programme in the previous administration due to his fraudulent practices and inappropriate attitude to work, that needed drastic actions.

While commending the outstanding performance of the presidential amnesty programme boss since assumption in office, he said that Dr. Otuaro has repositioned the amnesty programme towards attaining the core objectives of the programme.

“Dr. Dennis Otuaro as an academic who understands the importance of formal education, approved one thousand seven hundred (1,700) scholarship awards to PAP delegates few weeks ago, who were deployed to various institutions in Nigeria.

General James issued stern warning to those proliferating false claims and allegations against the amnesty administrator and the office, to refrain from such acts forthwith, as it creates public misconception rather than the facts about the programme.

He called on all critical stakeholders, leaders, opinion leaders and youth leaders to support the policies and programmes of the amnesty boss in repositioning the programme towards the achievement of the core objectives of the programme.

The group added by calling on the attention of the National Security Officer and the Inspector-General of Police to arrest and prosecute the serial blackmailer, Mr Jude Gbaboyor over his nefarious activities against the amnesty boss without delay.
