Clark’s Death: Gov. Diri Led High-Powered Delegation To Commiserates With Family

The Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri has led a high-powered delegation of well-respected political and traditional leaders in the state to commiserate with the family of Late Chief Pa Edwin Kiagbodo Clark.
Governor Douye Diri who led the high-powered delegation of leaders from the state to the Abuja residence of the departed Ijaw Icon, was joined by former President Goodluck Jonathan and Senator Henry Seriake Dickson for the condolence visit.
The governor was accompanied by traditional leaders, members of the national assembly, members of the state house of assembly, top government functionaries among others to commiserate with the family of Pa Edwin Kiagbodo Clark.
Governor Diri described the death of the foremost Ijaw leader and elder statesman, as a sad moment for the people of the Ijaw nation, Niger Delta and the Nation, considering his enormous selfless services, contributions to humanity, society.
“We owe our father-figure, Icon, leader and elder statesman, Pa Edwin Kiagbodo Clark the duty of keeping his remarkable legacies alive,” the governor added.
