Diri Receives FG Contractor For 2nd Phase Of Nembe-Brass Rd

Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri received in courtesy visit of the Federal Government Contracting Construction Company for the construction of the second phase of the Nembe-Brass road in Government House, Yenagoa.

Governor Diri while welcoming the contracting construction company, AIL Infrastructure Limited led by the Chairman, Mr Abiodun Otunola, expressed profound gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for timely approving the 2nd phase of the road.

“On behalf of the state government, let me extend my profound gratitude to our father and leader, President Bola Tinubu for his overwhelming unrelenting support and commitment to the development of Bayelsa State,” he added.

The state helmsman while deeply appreciating the approval of the second phase of the road, said the project reaffirms President Tinubu’s vision and bold steps towards the inclusion of Bayelsa State in national growth and development basically.

In his remarks, the Chairman of AIL Infrastructure Limited, Mr Abiodun Otunola thanked the Governor Diri and the Bayelsa State Government for the warm welcome accorded to him and his team for the courtesy visit to kick-start the road project.

He assured the state government of the federal government’s unwavering commitment towards the timely completion of the second phase of the road, adding that the construction company will deliver a standard job on the expected date.

Dignitaries at the meeting were the Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Lawrence Ewhrujakpo, former military administrator of Rivers State, King Alfred Diette-Spiff, Speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abraham Ingobere, Secretary to the State government, Prof. Nimibofa Ayawei.

Others were the Chief of Staff, Government House, Dr. Peter Pereotubo Akpe, State Assembly members, Commissioners, Chairman of Bayelsa State Traditional Rulers Council, King Bubaraye Dakolo, Brass and Nembe Local Government Chairmen, Hon. Lucky Febo and Hon. David Alagoa, amongst other top government functionaries.
