Sagbama APC Mourns Ex-Lawmaker, Brambaifa
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, has expressed deep sadness over the death of a party stalwart, Senator John Brambaifa.
Senator Brambaifa, who served as Chairman of Bayelsa West APC Caucus Forum, died on Saturday, 3rd of January, 2026, at a hospital in the federal capital territory, Abuja.
In a statement issued by a party stakeholder, Hon. Michael Bless Olomu, Ph.D, the Sagbama APC said the deceased as a committed and dedicated member of the party before his shocking sudden death.
Dr Olomu acknowledging Senator Brambaifa’s contributions as a party man, and in public service, said the deceased steadfastness and dedication to service to humanity and society cannot be understated.
Until his unfortunate death, Senator Brambaifa was the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Federal University of Agriculture, Bassambiri in Nembe Local Government Area of the State.
According to the party stakeholder, the party chieftain made tremendous efforts and contributions towards the growth and development of the APC in various capacities, which he served in different party committees of focus and vision until his death.
Dr Olomu sympathizing with the family and party members to bear the irreplaceable loss, said the Sagbama APC family most especially, has lost a strategic leader, who was committed to the course of making a difference in leadership.
The youths leader praying to God to grant the departed eternal rest, said he will forever remain in the hearts of the Sagbama APC family for his outstanding personality, and commendable contributions.
