APC Adopts Negerese As Consensus Candidate In Ekeremor Constituency |||

A massively loved grassroot politician, High Chief Berry Negerese, has emerged as the Consensus Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekeremor Constituency III ahead of the forthcoming Bayelsa State House of Assembly election in the State.

Negerese’s emergence followed consultations among party leaders, elders, stakeholders and delegates within the constituency, culminating in a consensus arrangement aimed at fostering cohesion and strengthening the APC’s chances in the constituency.

Party leaders and stakeholders who gathered during the announcement celebrated the outcome, describing High Chief Negerese as a grassroots politician with strong ties to the people and a deep understanding of the needs of the constituency, and far beyond.

Stakeholders noted that the consensus process was peaceful, transparent and reflective of the growing unity within the APC in Bayelsa State. Speaking shortly after his emergence, High Chief Berry Negerese expressed appreciation to party leaders, delegates and supporters for the confidence reposed in him, promising to justify the trust through effective representation and people-oriented leadership.
