Itoko Commends Dr. Akpe’s Leadership At Thanksgiving
The Bayelsa State Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mrs. Rose Itoko Amadi, on Sunday joined the Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, Dr. Peter Akpe, and members of his family at a thanksgiving service held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Yenagoa.
Mrs. Itoko was accompanied by the party’s senatorial district women leaders, local government women leaders, and numerous female party faithful drawn from across the state, underscoring the widespread admiration for the deputy governor.
Hotnews reports the thanksgiving service, which attracted political leaders, government officials, church members, family friends, and well-wishers, was marked by songs of praise, prayers, and expressions of gratitude to God for His faithfulness and guidance in the state affairs.
Speaking shortly after the thanksgiving service, Mrs. Itoko congratulated Dr. Akpe on his remarkable contributions to governance and his impactful leadership since assuming office as deputy governor.
She commended his dedication to public service, humility, and commitment to supporting the developmental vision of the administration.
According to her, Dr. Akpe has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and has continued to distinguish himself through his unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people of Bayelsa State.
The APC women leader noted that despite political differences, good leadership should always be acknowledged and celebrated.
She described the deputy governor as a bridge-builder whose conduct in office has earned him respect across political, ethnic, and religious divides.
Mrs. Itoko further prayed for God’s continued wisdom, strength, and protection upon Dr. Akpe as he discharges his responsibilities in service to the state.
She urged him to remain steadfast and focused on initiatives that promote peace, unity, and sustainable economic growth and development in Bayelsa.
