Jonathan, Otti, Fubara, Ododo, Others Attends Diri’s Daughter’s Wedding In Yenagoa

The first daughter of Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, Dr. Stephanie Ebidenere Diri, and her spouse, Ballad Tamaradoubra Agbeyei, have been joined in matrimony at a colourful ceremony in Yenagoa.

Hotnews gathered that the wedding, held on Sunday at the state headquarters of the Royal House of Grace International Church, attracted prominent political leaders, traditional rulers, government officials and dignitaries from across the country.

Among those who graced the occasion were former First Lady of Nigeria, Dame Patience Jonathan, and Governors Alex Otti of Abia, Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers and Ahmed Ododo of Kogi. Several first ladies, including those of Kwara, Ogun, Delta, Nasarawa and Taraba states, also attended.

Presiding Overseer of the church, Apostle David Zilly-Aggrey, joined the couple after delivering a sermon titled, “Submitting Unto One Another in Love.” He urged them to build their marriage on love, mutual submission and the fear of God.

Governor Diri and his wife, Dr. Gloria Diri, offered prayers for the newlyweds, asking God to bless their union with joy, peace and prosperity.

At the reception, chaired by Governor Alex Otti, the Abia Governor congratulated the couple and advised them to develop effective ways of resolving disagreements without involving third parties.

He noted that marriage comes with challenges but expressed confidence that with understanding, commitment and proper management, the couple would build a successful home.

The ceremony also attracted the Bayelsa State Deputy Governor, Dr. Peter Akpe, his wife, Dr. Favour Akpe, several serving and former political office holders, members of the National and State Assemblies, traditional rulers, captains of industry, diplomats and other distinguished guests.
