Ndiwari Building Legacy Projects Across Yenagoa Communities

The Chairman of Yenagoa Local Government Area, also known as the Mayor of Yenagoa, Hon. Bulodisiye Ndiwari, is driving an infrastructural development agenda focused on delivering projects that respond to the needs and concerns of communities across the local government area.

One notable example is the 30-bed primary healthcare facility constructed by the council in Biseni community, which was commissioned in 2025, and subsequently approved by the Governor, Senator Douye Diri for upgrade to a cottage hospital.

The project was conceived to improve access to healthcare for residents of the community and surrounding areas, and beyond healthcare, the council chairman’s development approach includes community engagement, infrastructure planning, economic initiatives and other interventions aimed at improving living conditions.

The council has also been engaging traditional rulers, community leaders and other stakeholders in identifying development priorities for its 2027 budget, as the chairman continues to implement projects across Yenagoa, the emphasis is increasingly on creating tangible assets that can serve residents beyond his tenure.

These initiatives, particularly those addressing healthcare and community needs, are becoming part of the physical development footprint of the Yenagoa Local Government Council, as community -based projects are particularly important because they have a direct impact on the quality of life to citizens of the communities.

The transformative development agenda of Hon. Ndiwari administration, is consequently not only about the number of projects executed, but about the spread of developmental projects across communities, and the determination to make local governance responsive to the people.

As the administration continues with its development agenda, expectations remain high among residents for more projects and interventions that will further improve infrastructure and living conditions across Yenagoa LGA.
