2023 General Election: Kolokolo Held A Strategic Meeting With Sagbama APC Ward Chairmen To Commence Ward Campaigns

The Deputy Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Bayelsa State, Hon. Francis Kolokolo Esq, held a strategic meeting with Ward Chairmen of the Party in Sagbama Local Government Area to strategically plan towards carrying out Ward and Community campaigns across the Local Government Area.

As the 2023 general elections draw closer, there is a great need for party members to have strategic meetings to discuss critical issues and plan towards building a more formidable party structure and support base in ensuring the victory of party candidates across the local government area and beyond.

The Party State Deputy Chairman, Hon. Francis Kolokolo Esq, stated the important need for the meeting to strategically schedule the days of activities for the ward to ward campaigns with immediate commencement and engagement of all critical leaders, stakeholders and supporters of the party for the campaigns across the local government area.

“It is imperative that we go down to our various wards and communities to sensitive our people from community to community, house to house to solicit for their support towards ensuring the victory of our party presidential candidate, state and national assembly candidates in the forthcoming general elections” he said.

Kolokolo stated that the party has more chances of winning the presidential election and various state and national assembly seats in the forthcoming general elections in the state, considering the sellability, acceptability, credibility and competency of party candidates in comparison with other political party candidates.

He further appealed to the ward chairmen to ensure that all leaders, stakeholders and supporters of the party in the various wards are fully informed and engaged to plan towards the success of the party ward to ward campaigns, stressing that the party and the leadership will provide all the necessary support to ensure smooth and successful campaigns.

The State Women Leader, Mrs Ebiere Akpobosa appreciated the state deputy chairman for convening the strategic meeting, and ward chairmen in attendance for the preparation of the ward to ward campaigns across the local government area, which will boast the party support base mostly in the forthcoming general elections.

She stated that the party ward to ward campaigns is a great welcome development and step in the right direction in sensitizing the electorates at the grassroot level to solicit for support to the party to ensure the victory of party candidates in the forthcoming general elections.

The strategic meeting was concluded peacefully with fruitful deliberations with immediate commencement of the ward to ward campaigns across the local government area, to ensure the massive victory of the party presidential candidate and state/national assembly candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
