2023 Presidential Election: Dickson Participated In PDP Presidential Campaign Rally In Osun State

The Former Governor of Bayelsa State and Senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District, Henry Seriake Dickson participated in the People’s Democratic Party)PDP) presidential campaign rally in Osun State.

The senator during last weekend joined the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and other statesmen of the party to solicit for the support of the people of the Osun state in the forthcoming presidential election.

In a statement sent to hotnews, and it reads in parts:

“I attended the presidential Campaign rally of our party, the People’s Democratic Party in Osun State. I had the opportunity to meet and interact with friends, colleagues and other leaders of the party and to congratulate my friend and brother, Senator Ademola Adeleke, the newly elected governor of Osun state and other top leaders of our party in Osun for a job well done.

“In 2018, I chaired the party’s Primary Committee which elected Senator Adeleke as the governorship flag bearer of our party. We believe he won the election at that time. It was refreshing to see him declared the winner and inaugurated recently. As they say in life, God’s time is the best. We pray for a successful tenure for him.

“It was a pleasure also being in Osun to show support to our Presidential Candidate and other members of the top campaign management team, I being a member also.

“While commending leaders who go round all campaigns across the country, I urge us all not to forget that all politics is local. Leaders should spend time to develop and build systems and support one another in their states because the votes the party needs are in the states, LGAs, wards and most importantly, in the polling units. And the election is BVAS.

“This is why in Bayelsa, I chair the Bayelsa State Campaign Advisory Council while the governor chairs the State Campaign Council and drives the campaign with the DG and other leaders. Bayelsa is poised yet again to deliver for PDP.
