2027: Sagbama Chairman Engages Sagbama Creek Stakeholders, Mobilises Grassroots Support For APC

The Acting Chairman of Sagbama Local Government Area, Hon. (Mrs) Diepriye Roseline Yankee-Robinson, has held a familiarisation and collaboration meeting with stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sagbama Creek, comprising Wards 6, 11 and 12, as part of efforts to unite and strengthen grassroots engagement and collective participation to ensure the landslide victory of all party candidates in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.

The stakeholders’ meeting, held on Tuesday, brought together a broad representation of political leaders, community stakeholders, women and youths from the three wards, providing an opportunity for dialogue, consultation and collaboration on issues concerning the political and developmental interests of the area.

The Sagbama creek stakeholders meeting was also used to foster stronger relationship between the local government leadership and grassroots stakeholders, while encouraging greater cooperation among party leaders and supporters across Sagbama Creek and beyond.

In her remarks, the Acting Chairman, Hon. (Mrs) Diepriye Roseline Yankee-Robinson, expressing profound gratitude to the attendees of the stakeholders meeting, emphasized the importance of unity, communication, collaboration and grassroots mobilisation in achieving shared political objectives, especially in the forthcoming general elections.

She used the medium to encourage the stakeholders to work unitedly, collectively, and maintain a strong connection with the people at the ward and community levels, as rightful steps to galvanize grassroots support for all party candidates.

The Acting Council Chairman, stated that the 2027 general elections would require sustained engagement, organisation and cooperation among leaders, women, youths and other critical stakeholders, stressing that grassroots participation remains paramount to attain victory for the party candidates in the elections.

Hon. Yankee-Robinson urged party members and supporters to take the message of the party to the electorates through peaceful engagement, issue-based campaigns, and most importantly, continuous interaction with the voters in their respective communities and wards across Sagbama creek and beyond.

Assuring stakeholders of continuous engagement as the 2027 general elections draw closer, she reiterated commitment and dedication of the Prosperity Government led by His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri and his Deputy, Dr. Peter Akpe, in addressing concerns to ensure that all APC candidates become victorious.

In their separate remarks, stakeholders commending the council chairman for the thoughtful familiarization and collaboration stakeholders meeting of the creek, described the meeting as first of its kind in history by the leadership of the local government council, and encourages continuity.

The stakeholders raising pertinent challenges facing the people of the creek, expressed readiness to work tirelessly in galvanizing grassroots support to ensure the landslide victory of all party candidates in the general elections, with a humble appeal for the provision of motivational incentives.

The familiarisation and collaboration meeting served not only as a political engagement but also deliberate steps to strengthen collaborative working relationship between the communities leadership and the leadership of the local government council for effective service delivery to the people.
