APC Integrity Group Vindicated By Ekeremor CDC Chairman & Paramount Ruler

…Says Sagbama/ Ekeremor road remains a legacy project of Senator Dickson.

Since the Gov. Douye Diri led prosperity government took over power in the state, there has been false personal claims by the governor on projects conceived and executed by his predecessor.

The APC Integrity Group, has over the years not relented in their efforts at setting the records straight. This we have done at the risk of being perceived as supporters of the former Governor and his party.

Bayelsa belongs to us all and whatever project is executed in our homeland is for the benefit of every Bayelsan regardless of the party or tongue of the initiator and the benefactor.

However, the APC integrity group has observed with dismay that despite the huge inflow to the state in the past three years, the Douye Diri led government has failed to embark on any big ticket project but have rather decided to claim his predecessor projects as those executed by his government.

The questions Bayelsans are asking therefore are; Where are all the funds earmarked for projects in the state being diverted to?

Why has the Douye Diri led government chosen to use existing projects as coverup for what is clearly, a lack of performance?

And why is continuity in governance suddenly in this Douye Diri government assuming a different meaning such that it is now a deceitful means of depriving the people?

In a recent PDP rally in Ekeremor, the CDC chairman – Mr. Seidu Ebiakpo and the Paramount Ruler – His Highness, Chief Gbaseimor Agbodo, openly debunked these claims by the Diri led government and rather gave credit to the former Governor Dickson for his efforts at bringing development to the axes through the construction of the road which was abandoned for over 40years.

The APC Integrity Group, commended the duo for setting the records straight to all Bayelsans in agreement with our position that the Douye Diri led government is working hard to conceal their inefficiency under his predecessor’s work.

It is clear today that if Douye Diri’s predecessor had not executed the numerous projects Bayelsans now appreciate, Douye Diri would have had nothing by now to show to Bayelsans as evidence of his stewardship.

We have always cried out, that Gov Douye Diri has not been able to carry out any meaningful project despite the huge inflow to the state.

The state’s resources now belong to the governor’s family members and relatives.

And now, with the elections around the corner, it is not out of place to state that our collective resources are
currently being used to induce leaders of his failed party for the PDP ticket and certain leaders of our party to make light the contest ahead.

We vow to continue to make these corrections where necessary and will always be vindicated as a group.

The Paramount Ruler went back memory lane, stating that all the bridges on the Sagbama/Ekeremor road also were constructed by the former governor and not Douye Diri.

This is a good development and clearly indicative of the fact that the PDP has failed and only thrives on propaganda and falsehood.

Gov Douye Diri has failed Bayelsans and that’s the truth.
