Dickson Led South-South Senate Caucus To Congratulate Akpabio On His 61st Birthday

The Former Governor and Senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District, His Excellency, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, led a delegation to congratulate the Senate President of Nigeria, His Excellency, Senator Godswill Akpabio (CON), on the occasion of his 61st birthday.

Senator Dickson who is the Chairman of the South-South Senate Caucus, led other Senators from the region to congratulate and celebrate with the President of the 10th Senate, Senator Akpabio at his country home, Uyo in Akwa-Ibom State.

Senator Dickson disclosed the high-powered delegation through his official facebook handle, on behalf of his colleagues, wished the senate president well, and assured him of their total support, encouragement and prayers in leading the senate and the national assembly effectively and proactively.

Senator Dickson as the Chairman of the South-South Senate Caucus, presented a birthday card and delivered a birthday congratulatory remarks on behalf of all the senators of the region.

The statement reads: “Yesterday evening, I led the delegation of the South South Senate caucus to congratulate His Excellency, Senator Godswill Akpabio CON, the Senate President on his 61st birthday at his home.

“In the company of and with the support of my colleagues, it was our pleasure to have presented the birthday card whereupon I delivered the birthday congratulatory remarks on behalf of all the Senators of the South South Zone.

“We wished the Senate President well, we assured him of our support, encouragement and prayers as he leads the Senate and the National Assembly.

“We also hope to be in Uyo for the formal celebrations.
