Senator Dickson Mourns Former Group CEO Of Access Holdings, Herbert O. Wigwe
The Former Governor and Senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District, His Excellency, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, has mourned the Former Group Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings, Late Herbert Wigwe, who died in a helicopter crash in the United States of America.
The Former Governor and Senator made this known through his official facebook handle, described the deceased as an exceptional banker who was dedicated in breaking new frontiers in the banking industry.
“Just like everyone else, I was shocked to learn of the passing of Herbert O. Wigwe, who died in a helicopter crash with his wife and son in the incident that occurred in the United States of America,” Senator Dickson added.
The late group chief executive officer of Access holdings, Mr Herbert Wigwe died in a helicopter crash with his wife, son and others in the city of California, United States of America.
Senator Dickson while reflecting on shared pursuits of human capital development of both of them whose private universities were granted license of operation last year, prayed for the realization of the deceased’s admirable dream as expected.
While commending the tremendous efforts and improved banking services of the deceased Mr Herbert Wigwe that benefited society as a whole, Senator Dickson stated that his sudden death is an immense loss to the South-South region, Nigeria and Africa as a whole specifically.
Senator Dickson commiserating with the family of the deceased on behalf of the South-South Senate Caucus as Chairman, extended heartfelt condolences to family members, friends, colleagues and associates, and prayed to God Almighty to grant the departed souls eternal rest.
The statement reads: “Like everyone else, I was shocked to learn of the passing of Herbert O. Wigwe, Group CEO of Access Holdings, in a helicopter crash in the United States of America. Tragically, his wife and son also lost their lives in the accident.
“Herbert Wigwe was an exceptional banker who dedicated himself to breaking new frontiers in the banking industry. His efforts not only improved banking services but also set standards that benefited society as a whole. His sudden passing is an immense loss for the South South region, Nigeria, and Africa.
“It is with deep sadness that I reflect on our shared pursuit of human capacity development. Last year, both of us were granted licenses for our respective private universities. I sincerely hope that his untimely demise will not hinder the realization of this admirable dream.
“On behalf of my family and the South South Caucus of the Senate, I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and associates worldwide. May the Almighty grant their souls eternal rest.
