Senator Dickson Attends Funeral Of His In-law, Late Chief Okou Paul

The Former Governor and Senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District, His Excellency, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, led high-powered delegation to attend the funeral of his in-law, Late Chief Okou Paul before the weekend.

The Former Governor and Senator made this known through his official facebook handle, stated that the deceased is the father-in-law of his younger brother, Dr. Oruaze Dickson.

Senator Dickson in his condolence message, described the deceased as a responsible man that lived a good life, and raised lovely children.

Senator Dickson who was accompanied by traditional leaders and political leaders of his country home and the senatorial district to attend the funeral of his in-law, thanked them for their continuous support and solidarity exhibited.

While acknowledging the presence of political leaders and the community in the funeral, Senator Dickson thanked them for the warm reception accorded to him and his team on arrival to the community basically.

Senator Dickson sympathizing with members of the family for God to give them the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss, prayed to God to grant the departed soul eternal rest.

The statement reads: “My delegation and I also attended the funeral of Late Chief Okou Paul, who is my in-law, the father of the wife of my Younger brother, Dr. Oruaze Dickson.

“We were there as part of the family and our community and a number of Senatorial leaders were there and I thank all of them.

“I thanked the Community and their political leaders for their warm reception.

“Chief Okou Paul lived a good life and raised lovely children and It is my pray that God will grant his soul eternal rest and the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
