Senator Dickson Attends Dr. Embeleakpo Apere’s Daughter Traditional Marriage In Ebedebiri

Former Governor of Bayelsa State and Senator representing Bayelsa West, His Excellency, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson attended the traditional marriage ceremony of Mr and Mrs Prince Chiazor Diarah at Ebedebiri Community in Sagbama Local Government Area, Bayelsa State.

The Federal Lawmaker, Senator Dickson was accompanied by traditional leaders, political leaders, stakeholders, elders, women and youths from the local government area and beyond to grace the traditional marriage ceremony on Saturday, 29th of June, 2024.

The beautiful bride of the couple, Dr. Tamarakarela-Emi Apere, is the daughter of Hon. Embeleakpo Apere (Ph.D), who is the Director General (DG) Bayelsa State Microfinance and Enterprise Development Agency (BYMEDA), and other public offices under Senator Dickson’s administration as Governor.

Hot News gathered that the father of the bride, Hon. Embeleakpo Apere has maintained a good working relationship with the former Governor and Federal Lawmaker, Senator Dickson over the years. He worked under Senator Dickson as Governor of Bayelsa State.

In his remarks, Senator Dickson thanked traditional leaders, stakeholders, elders, women and youths in attendance for making out the time to celebrate with the couple. He added by advising the couple to be tolerant and understanding, and prayed to God to bless their union.

He used the medium to call on his constituents and the state at large, to continue to exhibit and inculcate the spirit of oneness, unity, stability and peace, as major tools in maintaining the norms, values, culture and tradition as a people.
