Dickson Receives Children Of Late Ijaw Music Icon, King Robert Ebizimor

The Former Governor of Bayelsa State and Senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District, His Excellency, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson received in courtesy visit of the children of Late Ijaw Music Icon, King Robert at his country home in Toru-Orua, Sagbama LGA, Bayelsa State.

The Former Governor and Senator made this known through his official facebook handle, stated that the courtesy visit was to officially invite and inform him of the family’s plans to celebrate the late music icon’s tenth year anniversary basically.

Senator Dickson stated that King Robert Ebizimor and Rex Jim Lawson are the foremost Ijaw musicians who uplifted a very important aspect of the identity and culture of the Ijaw nationality.

He stated how his administration as governor did the very best for the late music icon, and how he was grateful for the support from the government till his death ten years ago, which the government organized a state burial for the late music icon, as well as several other Ijaw leaders.

According to Senator Dickson, he has asked Hon. Fyneman Wilson to select a team of senatorial leaders from Bayelsa West, and others who may wish to honor the late music icon on the 31st of July, 2024, to mobilize support for the family.

Senator Dickson as the Chairman of the occasion of the tenth year anniversary, called on all Ijaws and Niger Delta sons and daughters to honor the late music icon, King Robert Ebizimor with their presence, goodwill messages and other forms of support to the family.

He added that by the grace of God, him and his entourage of selected senatorial traditional and political leaders, stakeholders, elders, women and youths, will attend the tenth year anniversary of the late music icon in his hometown at Angalabiri community, Sagbama LGA.
