Dickson Receives Petroleum Minister (Oil), Discusses Developmental Issues
The Former Governor of Bayelsa State and Senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District, His Excellency, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson received in courtesy visit of the Minister of Petroleum Resources (Oil), Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri at his residence in Abuja.
The Former Governor and Senator made this known through his official facebook handle, described the honourable minister as a brother who visited to discuss pertinent issues affecting the progress and development of the people basically.
The honorable minister and the serving senator, are from the same senatorial district (Bayelsa West). The senatorial district is made up of two local government areas (Sagbama and Ekeremor) basically.
Senator Dickson while thanking the honourable minister, Sen. Lokpobiri for the work he is doing in the petroleum ministry, encouraged him not to be deterred despite the current difficult time the country is experiencing in most sectors.
The Ofuruma-Pepe (Great White-Shark) reiterated his call on all critical stakeholders to continue to support the honorable minister in making desired impact in the petroleum ministry for Nigerians.
The statement reads: “This evening, I received my brother and honourable Minister of State for Petroleum, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri who visited to compare notes with me on issues bordering on the development and progress of our people.
“I thanked him for the visit and I appreciated and encouraged him for the work he is doing in his ministry at such a difficult time in the life of our country.
“Once again I call on all to continue to give him support as I have always done.
