Sen. Lokpobiri Extends Gratitude To FCT Minister For Appointment

The Honorable Minister of State For Petroleum Resources (Oil), Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri, has expressed profound gratitude to the Honorable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barr. Nyesom Wike for facilitating his appointment.

The honorable minister extended his profound gratitude to the federal capital territory minister on Saturday in an event in Port-harcourt, Rivers State, described Barr. Nyesom Wike as a strategic leader who generously facilitated his appointment basically.

Hot News gathered that the event during the weekend in the state capital, was organized Ijaw leaders in Rivers State to commend the laudable contributions and support of the federal capital territory minister towards the Ijaw people.

The Petroleum Minister, Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri made it clearly that his second journey as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, was concluded in the house of the FCT Minister, Barr. Nyesom Wike in Port-harcourt and Abuja generously.

“My second journey as Minister got started in the house of the FCT Minister in Port-harcourt, and got concluded in the house of the FCT Minister in Abuja specifically.

He pointed out how the Managing Director (MD) of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, also recounted the benevolent and generous deed of the federal capital territory minister directly facilitated his appointment.

Sen. Lokpobiri while appreciating the former helmsman of Rivers State on behalf of the Ijaw people globally, urged him to do more for the Ijaw people, as a people who show profound gratitude for good deeds, and they are not known for betrayal.

He added that the Ijaw people are gathered en mass to celebrate him (Wike) because of the good things he has done for the Ijaw people in the state and beyond, and for being such a good man and strategic leader.

The honorable petroleum minister while describing the federal capital territory minister as one of the few national leaders in the country currently, reiterated the Ijaw people unwavering commitment and support for his strategic leadership.

Sen. Lokpobiri described Barr. Wike as a friend and brother to the Ijaw people for your benevolent deeds, adding that it is always better to have a good friend than to have a bad brother, as a bad brother has no meaningful use for your growth.

He ended his commendable speech by assuring the federal capital territory minister of the Ijaw people unwavering support for his strategic leadership, as they are gathered en mass to appreciate, celebrate him.
