Bayelsa Youth Association Suspends Doupere, Perekeme Indefinitely

Resolution and suspension of Mr Doupere Olakemi Precious and Mr Perekeme Ayah from all activities and as members of Bayelsa Youth Association (BYA) indefinitely.

The decision of the suspension of the above-mentioned persons was made in an emergency meeting of Stakeholders/Elders of Bayelsa Youth Association (BYA) Worldwide, which was held on Thursday, 14th of November, 2024.

The emergency stakeholders, leaders and elders meeting of the youth body had in attendance of the following persons:

1. Elvis Donkemezuo
2. Comr. Obele Felix
3. Comrade Nimi Dadiowei
4. Gloria Paul
5. Martins Daubry
6. Selekumo Dressman
7. Ayebakuro Bina
8. Dieprebra Solomon Bigbo
9. ⁠Sayefa Ogbose

Resolutions:

1. The Electoral Committee earlier announced with Comr. Obele Felix as Honorary Chairman and Átti J. Moses as Co Chairman will now function as both the Transitional and Electoral Committee for BYA Worldwide.

2. The committee has endorsed the both Co Chairmen to manage the executive operations and electoral processes to elect new leadership for BYA Worldwide.

3. The Mr. Precious Olakeme-led Executive is deemed inactive due to the expiration of their tenure and failure to comply with constitutional provisions for transition.

4. Mr. Precious Olakeme be suspended from all BYA activities for referring to Elders and Stakeholders of BYA as unscrupulous elements in a press briefing making rounds on the media.

5. Mr. Precious Olakeme is required to appear before a disciplinary committee to explain the source of the monies his been spending to undermine the electoral process of the BYA to be established by the Interim Leadership for hearing and necessary actions.

6. Bayelsa Youths and the public are warned to dissociate from any activities conducted by Mr. Precious Olakeme and his associates, as they do not represent BYA Worldwide.

7. The Interim Leadership led by Comr. Obele Felix and Comr. Átti Joshua Moses is recognized as authentic and has the endorsement of the founding fathers, elders, and stakeholders of BYA.

8. That non-members of BYA should desist from sponsoring division in the BYA and rather call for collaboration for a successful transition if they must show their love for Bayelsa Youth. This is necessary to avoid the break down of order and unnecessary strain in the organization as founding fathers and stakeholders are unanimous for a peaceful transition.

9. ⁠Failure to adhere to number may force founding fathers and stakeholders to call out such actors with intention to destabilize and divide the unity of BYA Worldwide and petition defaulters of the above to relevant authorities (Law Enforcement and the court).

10. Advice the General Public not to have anything to do with them as regards the BYA and the forthcoming elections as anything they are doing is null and illegal

11. That BYA is solely for the Prosperity of Bayelsa Youths and the development of Bayelsa State.
