Jude’s Claims: Tompolo, Otuaro Are Well-Respected Leaders

The Niger Delta Peace Initiative (NDPI), has condemned in strong terms of the unfounded malicious allegations against a Niger Delta freedom fighter and warlord, High Chief Government Ekpomupolo publicly known as Tompolo, and other Gbaramatu Kingdom leaders.

In a statement issued by the group coordinator, Comrade John Raphael, described the unfounded malicious allegations of Mr Jude Gbaboyor against High Chief Tompolo, Chief Dennis Otuaro, and others as baseless and factless, intended to defame the reputation of the leaders.

Mr Jude Gbaboyor who is from Isaba Community in Delta State, on a live facebook broadcast few days ago, made malicious claims alleging that Great Joshua Maciver kidnapped Mr Charles Korubo and trafficked him to High Chief Government Ekpomupolo a.k.a Tompolo at Oporoza town.

He alleged that Mr Charles Korubo was kidnapped on the 19th of November, 2024, and was transferred to Oporoza community in Gbaramatu Kingdom where the supposed kidnapped victim has been locked up in a private cell room ever since.

Mr Jude further alleged that out of the one thousand seven hundred names that was deployed for formal education in various institutions in Nigeria, fifty percent of the names are ghost names intended to siphon funds from the amnesty office by the administrator, Dr Dennis Otuaro.

He said Government Ekpomupolo as an elder brother to Dr. Dennis Otuaro, facilitated his appointment as the administrator of the presidential amnesty programme as Delta state slot in the amnesty office basically.

The group stated categorically that Mr Jude Gbaboyor’s allegations against the well-respected, peaceful and hardworking leaders in the Niger Delta region are not only malicious and mischievous, but misleading in order to defame the hard-earned reputation of the two leaders.

Comrade John while commending the amnesty administrator for the effective management of the programme since assumption in office, said the amnesty programme has been repositioned for attainment of the core objectives of the establishment of the programme.

He urged the amnesty boss, Dr. Otuaro not to be distracted with the fallacious claims and allegations of the likes of Mr Jude Gbaboyor, who are only seeking for attention and recognition from his office due to joblessness as an uneducated man.

The group noted that the general public should disregard the misleading allegations of the cyberstalker who is aggrieved for the fact that the amnesty boss refused to reinstate him as a staff of the amnesty programme after being sacked for unprofessional conduct.
