Dickson Receives Delegation Of Paramount Rulers @Toru-Orua

Former Governor of Bayelsa State and Senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, has received a high-powered delegation of well-respected Paramount Rulers at his country home in Toru-Orua.

The former governor and senator made this known through his official facebook handle, described the Christmas visit of the traditional rulers as overwhelming, as he spent some quality time with them.

The Paramount Rulers who came on a yuletide (Christmas) visit, comprises of paramount rulers from various communities in Bayelsa west senatorial district to show solidarity as a usual practice on yearly basis.

Senator Dickson expressed his profound gratitude to them for the peace and stability existing in all communities in the senatorial district and beyond over the years.

He urged the paramount rulers to continue to work with security agencies, and the state government for the maintenance of law and order, and stability in the communities.

The national lawmaker while thanking them for their continuous prayers and support over the years, wished them Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year in advance.

The statement read in parts: “Today, I received a delegation of respected Paramount Rulers of our communities in Bayelsa West who came on a Christmas visit and I was pleased to receive and spend some time with them.

“I expressed my appreciation to them for the peace and stability existing in all our communities and called on them to continue to work with the security agencies and the government for the maintenance of order and stability in our communities.

“I thanked them for their prayers and support all the time and wished them a Merry Christmas and a happy and Prosperous New year.
