Diri Holds State Security Council Meeting, Says Bayelsa Not Safe For Crime

Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri has reiterated his administration’s non-tolerance for crime and criminality in the state.

Senator Diri reiterated the prosperity government’s zero tolerance for crime and criminality during the 40th state security council meeting in Government House, Yenagoa.

The Governor while commending security agencies for their proactive steps in fighting crimes in the state, emphasized the great need for synergy and collaboration among security agencies in the state.

He appreciated the state police command in making strategic steps for the arrest of the killers of a real estate agent, Mr Richard Ekpebu.

Senator Diri stated that Bayelsa is not safe for anyone who has criminal intentions, adding that his administration will continue to work with security agencies in fighting crime and criminality in the state.
