“The governor led the campaigns as the face of the campaigns as expected after four years, and he went round everywhere. I want to thank all of you, the elders, traditional leaders, women and youths in all our communities for your rousing welcome and reception to the governor, deputy and the campaign team.
“The governor has tried his best consolidating on what we did, and starting his own course of development in different ways. Now, he has gone round, he has interacted with you people and listened to all, there is no doubt in the next four years if you renew his mandate, he is going to do more for our people in Jesus Name, Amen.
“Even though you may not have seen me from the community campaigns, I made it clear from the beginning that I was there in spirit of the campaigns and you saw it. These two people (governor and deputy) have been tried, tested and proven, and they are qualified for elevation.
“You all know in Ijaw land, fathers don’t deny their children of elevation. We all have no option than to re-elect them for second term on the day of the election. I want to use this medium to endorse their candidature once again.
“The party elders met, and we have endorsed and reaffirmed our total support for them to be re-elected for second term. We are solely behind them for second term to do more for our dear state.
“This is the party that has given us great leaders, since from the time of Late Chief DSP Alamieyeseigha of blessed memory. This is our party. It is under this party that one of our leaders became Vice President and President.
“It is the same party platform that our performing miracle governor was elected, and he is consolidating on the developmental strives we laid, and starting his own course of development across the state.
“I want to use this medium to state as one of the leaders of the state, that this state has a tradition of peace, security, stability and development.
“I want to once again lend my voice to the call for free, fair, transparent, and respectable election. I want to call you on the security agencies to continue to provide law and order. Protect the citizens of our dear state.
“We have no doubt that our performing miracle governor and his deputy will be victorious on the day of the election. Go in peace. Thank you and God bless you all.
