Breaking: Senate Begins Screening Of Ministerial Nominees, As Wike, Abubakar, Others Successfully Screened

The 10th National Assembly (Senate) today Monday, 31st of July, 2023, commenced the screening of ministerial nominees submitted by President Bola Tinubu to the red chamber on Thursday, 27th of July, 2023.

The screening commenced at about 1: 30pm at the plenary session today.

The first ministerial nominees screened was Abubakar Momoh from Edo State, followed by the former Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, and others.

Recall that the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, on Thursday, 27th of July, unveiled the 28-man ministerial nominees which was delivered by the Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila.

Prominent politicians who made the list were the immediate past Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, and his colleague from Kaduna, Nasir El-Rufai, and former Ebonyi Governor, David Umahi.
