Devt: Sagbama Chairperson Receives Peace Architects, Salga Fed. Youth Council

The Acting Chairperson of Sagbama Local Government Area, Hon. Diepriye Robinson-Yankee, yesterday received the Bayelsa State Peace Architects (SPA), led by Dr. Inebaraton Preye, and the apex youth body of Sagbama LGA, the Sagbama Federated Youth Council (SFYC), led by its President, Comr. Ebibose G. Green, on a courtesy visit.

The two groups congratulated Hon. Diepriye on her emergence as Acting Chairperson and expressed their solidarity and commitment to supporting her administration.

They commended her open-door policy and pledged to work closely with her administration and other relevant stakeholders to promote peace, unity, youth inclusion, and sustainable development across Sagbama LGA.

In her response, Hon. Diepriye appreciated the Bayelsa State Peace Architects and the Sagbama Federated Youth Council for the timely visit and their demonstration of support and goodwill. She also expressed her willingness to support their forthcoming events and initiatives, reaffirming her administration’s commitment to partnering with youth and peace-building organizations.

She reaffirmed her commitment to inclusive and people-oriented leadership, noting that the success of her administration would require the collective support and cooperation of all Salgarians, youth organizations, traditional and community leaders, and other stakeholders.

According to her, her administration will prioritize peace, unity, development, and purposeful collaboration, while consolidating on the achievements of the Prosperity Administration of His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State.
