Dickson Pays Condolence Visit To Family Of Engr. Charles Dorgu
Former Governor of Bayelsa State and Senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, paid a condolence visit to the family of Engr. Charles Dorgu, who passed away recently in Agbere Community.
The former Governor and Senator made this known through his official facebook handle, described the deceased as a good man and great leader who rendered selfless services and contributions to humanity and society at large.
Dickson who led a delegation of traditional leaders, political leaders and stakeholders to commiserate with the family of the deceased, encouraged members of the family to bear the irreplaceable loss.
He also visited the Acting Paramount Ruler of Agbere community and the family of His Royal Highness, Masteri Bikumoh John, Agbere Bebe Kene 2, former Amananaowei of the community, who passed on recently.
Dickson condole with the family, Council of Chiefs and people of the Community, and prayed to God to grant both families the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable losses.
He assured both families that the senatorial leadership will give them the necessary support, and will be with them at the funeral ceremony.
The statement read in parts: “Yesterday, in my tradition of giving respect, honour and recognition to the services and contributions of people.
“I led a delegation to pay a condolence visit to the family of Engineer Charles Dorgu, one of the leaders of our people who passed on recently.
“He was a good man and a great leader. I expressed my condolences to the family.
“I also visited the Acting Paramount Ruler of Agbere and the family of His Royal Highness, Masteri Bikumoh John, Agbere Bebe Kene 2, Former Amananaowei of Agbere over his passing.
“I condole with the family, the Council of Chiefs and the Community and pray God grants both families the fortitude to bear the losses.
“I assured them that the senatorial leadership will give them the necessary support and will be with them at the funeral ceremony.
