Diri Joins Family, Dignitaries For 20th Remembrance Of Barr. John Sambo’s Mother

Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, on Friday joined family members, friends, associates, and top government functionaries at the 20th remembrance thanksgiving service held in honour of Late Mrs. Ebisintei Sambo (Nee Kumokou), mother of the Director of Domestic, Government House, Yenagoa, Barr. John Sambo.

Hotnews reliably gathered that the remembrance activities extended beyond the church service, as family members, guests, and well-wishers later converged at the Sampou residence of Barr. John Sambo for a traditional wake-keeping celebration.

The solemn but celebratory event took place at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Sampou, in Kolokuma-Opokuma Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, where worshippers gathered to thank God for the life, legacy, and enduring impact of the deceased matriarch, two decades after her passing.
