Diri Leads Family In Annual Thanksgiving At Sampou

Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, soberly led immediate and extended family members in annual thanksgiving service at St. Peter’s Anglican church in his country home, Sampou town.

Governor Diri who made the annual thanksgiving service known through his facebook handle, thanked God for His blessings to the Diri’s family, in unity, peace, love and bond of togetherness.

The annual thanksgiving service held on Sunday, 28th December, also had in attendance of state and national assembly members, top government functionaries, political friends and associates, including well-wishers.

The state helmsman appreciated friends, associates and well-wishers for joining his family for the annual thanksgiving service in appreciating God Almighty.

“I led members of my immediate and extended families to our annual thanksgiving at the St. Peter’s Anglican Church, in our community, Sampou, Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

“It was indeed a great time in the presence of God with my dear wives, brothers, sisters, our children and other family members. Truly, God has been good to the Diri’s family, hence, the need to appreciate Him for the unity, love and bond of togetherness amongst us.

“Just as the men of God prayed, may Almighty continue to keep us in good health and sound mind.

“I appreciate friends and well wishers who joined us in the thanksgiving, Nua!
