Gov Diri Delivers Befitting New Legislators Quarters

The Prosperity Administration led by Senator Douye Diri, the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, has continued to make remarkable strides in infrastructure development, delivering projects that have positively impacted governance and welfare of public office holders across the state.

As part of the prosperity government commitment to strengthening state democratic institutions and improving the working conditions of lawmakers, the administration constructed New Legislators Quarters for members of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly.

Hotnews gathered that the befitting modern-standard legislators quarters was commissioned on February 14, 2025, by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, accompanied by other members of the national assembly.

The befitting facility is fully equipped with contemporary equipments designed to provide a comfortable and conducive living environment for the state legislators and their families.

The project underscores Governor Diri’s deliberate tremendous efforts and contributions in promoting the welfare of lawmakers to enhance their productivity, and ensure effective legislative service delivery in the state.
