Ekelga Council Boss, Hon. Onniye Eulogizes Senator Dickson On His 59th Birthday

The Executive Chairman of Ekeremor Local Government Area, Hon. Onniye Isaac, has extended warm birthday wishes to the Senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District, His Excellency, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson on his 59th birthday.

In a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Ekeremor Local Government Council Chairman, Mr Thorpe Okokoyoh, the chairman described the former governor and federal lawmaker as a pragmatic, eloquent and visionary leader.

Hon. Onniye acknowledged Senator Dickson’s remarkable contributions to the development of Bayelsa West Senatorial District, Bayelsa State, and Nigeria at large.

He commended Senator Dickson’s impactful leadership from his time as Governor of Bayelsa State to his current role as a distinguished Senator in the National Assembly, praising his unwavering dedication to improving the lives of Bayelsans.

Hon. Onniye described Senator Dickson as a pragmatic, eloquent, and visionary leader whose legal expertise and governance style have set him apart.

He referred to him as a “talk-na-do” leader whose achievements resonate with the people of Bayelsa West and beyond.

Reflecting on Senator Dickson’s tenure as Governor, Hon. Onniye particularly praised the initiation of the Sagbama-Ekeremor road project, a transformative development for Bayelsa West.

He shared personal memories of his days as a secondary school student, witnessing previous governments to deliver on this project.

Today, as the Executive Chairman of Ekeremor LGA, he expressed pride in driving on the completed road to his office in Ekeremor Town, a testament to Senator Dickson’s legacy of infrastructural development.
