Diri Attends Lord’s Chosen Church Annual Crusade

The Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, attended the annual crusade of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Church at the headquarter’s campground in Mgbidi under Oru-West Local Government Area of Imo State.

Hot News gathered that the church crusade held on Saturday, 3rd January, 2026, had in attendance of prominent leaders across Nigeria.

Governor Diri, who was accompanied by members of the state assembly, top government officials and aides, attended the church annual crusade in acknowledgement of God’s grace and favor of his emergence as Governor of Bayelsa State in 2020.

Retrospectively, Senator Diri became Governor of Bayelsa State on 13th February, 2020, when the Supreme Court nullified the candidacy of the APC Deputy Governorship Candidate, Sen. Degi Eremienyo over names discrepancies in his certificates.

The Governor since emergence as Governor of Bayelsa State, has kept faith with the spiritual obligation of attending the annual crusade of the church in the past years, in acknowledgement, and appreciation of God’s faithfulness in his life.

The state helmsman appreciating members of the congregation for the warm reception accorded to him and his entourage, said it is always a great feeling and pleasure to be in the presence of God to worship Him.

Senator Diri thanked the General Overseer of the Church, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, for his persistent prayers for the smooth running of his administration in Bayelsa State.
