Group Endorse Sagbama Constituency || APC Candidate, Engr Highlife As Their Sole Candidate.

A grassroot based support group, Democratic Progressive Youth Network in Sagbama Constituency ||has endorsed the Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Engr. Humphrey Highlife Peremobowe, as their sole candidate in the forthcoming state house of assembly election in the constituency.

The spokesman of the socio-political support group, Comrade Akpofini Matthew made the endorsement during an interactive session with newsmen of hotnews in the state capital, Yenagoa.

Comr Matthew stated that the endorsement became necessary and pertinent as a result of the countless generous services and contributions to the people of the constituency beyond party affiliations, stressing that Engr Highlife’s has carried a lot of people oriented philanthropic programs without holding a public office.

Comr Matthew further stated that checking the track record of the APC candidate, Engr. Highlife, we are sure of his quality representation which will be resulted oriented leadership as a youth who is well-informed of the legislative business.

“We as youths should imbibe good morals, values and principles that are acceptable in society, just like the personality of Engr Highlife with an exemplary lifestyle which youths should emulate” he said.

The group also called on the people of Sagbama Constituency || to support the people oriented philanthropic leader who will change the narrative of political leadership in the constituency, mostly in the areas of infrastructure and human capital development, by looking beyond political party affiliation in the general election.

Comr Matthew further explained that Engr. Highlife as a young man has done well in rendering humanitarian services to the people using personal resources supporting youth programs and others.

Comr Matthew stated categorically that the grassroot based support group took the decision to endorse the APC candidate, Engr Humphrey Highlife Peremobowe as a result of his tremendous performance and good track record over the years, which is highly commendable and the great need to elect a youth leader who understands the pains and sufferings of the youths, elderly men and women in the constituency.

“The good leadership qualities and humanitarian services to the people beyond political party affiliation, is the major motive behind the endorsement to ensure that a credible candidate is elected that will change the narrative of political leadership in the constituency” he added.
