MBO Unity Football Cup Competition Kicks Off Today, Invites General Public

The Michael Bless Olomu (MBO) Foundation cordially invites the general public to the grand opening ceremony of its maiden football tournament, “Sagbama Renewed Hope Football Competition” at Mile 3, Sagbama Town by 3pm.

The football tournament is primarily targeted at discovering talented young football players in various communities and towns in Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

The football tournament creates the avenue for the talented footballers to showcase their potentials to the world, that will create the opportunity for some talented players to play in national and international football teams.

Football as an important instrument for youth development, plays a major role in bringing people and communities of similar and different cultures, traditions together as a game that fosters peace, unity and growth.

The MBO foundation is investing hugely in football as to discover young talented youths in the rural communities, creating futuristic opportunities for them in football, as one of the highest paying sports in the world currently.

The Sagbama Renewed Hope Football Competition has a total registered number of thirty two (32) communities (represented in football teams), cutting across the entire Sagbama Local Government Area.

The kick-off of the football tournament is scheduled to hold on the 23rd of March, 2025, at Agbadiowei Playground, Mile 3, Sagbama Town at 3pm. Other matches will follow suit as scheduled in other outlined centres.

The foundation and the football tournament planning committee will sincerely appreciate your presence at the opening ceremony and other team matches of the football competition geared towards discovering talented youths.
