Mrs Alice Celebrates One In Office, Thanks PDP Leaders

The Executive Chairman of Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Hon. (Mrs) Alice Tangi Allen, has appreciated leaders and stakeholders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the great privilege to serve the council.

Mrs Alice who is a committed and dedicated Christian, said there is a great need to thank/appreciate God for her emergence as the first female chairman of the council and the only female chairman in the state, for the peaceful and successful one year in office.

The council chairman appreciated the PDP leaders and stakeholders for finding her worthy to serve the council as chairman, during her one year anniversary thanksgiving service held at the Sagbama council secretariat on Sunday, 8th June, 2025.

Hot News gathered that the one year anniversary thanksgiving service of the Sagbama council chairman, had in attendance of traditional rulers, political leaders, stakeholders, elders, women and youths from the LGA, Bayelsa West and the State at large.

PDP executives and government officials in their various remarks, commended the council chairman for running an all-inclusive administration without segregation or marginalization of party executives, leaders or stakeholders.

Mrs Alice who received encomium from party executives, stakeholders, traditional rulers, women and youths for her all-inclusive leadership, was encouraged to continue the solid foundation she has laid by working closely with all critical stakeholders.

The historic one year anniversary thanksgiving service event was ended with merriment, refreshment, cash gifts and other items as an appreciation, as tradition demands.
