NDBDA Helmsman Receives Phase 2 & 3 Leadership Of PAP

The Managing Director of the Niger Delta Basin Development Authority (NDBDA), Hon. Prince Ebitimi Amgbare, received in courtesy visit of the leadership of Phase 2 and Phase 3 of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) at his residence in Port-harcourt, Rivers State.

Hot News gathered that the meeting is a continuation of the NDBDA boss engagements of critical stakeholders in the Niger Delta region towards fostering unity, peace, stability and development in the region basically.

In his remarks, National Chairman of Phase 3 of PAP, Gen. Elaye Slaboh on behalf of the delegation, expressed profound gratitude to the NDBDA boss for his warm reception and hospitality of the delegation, as a patriotic and foresighted leader.

Gen. Elaye thanked the development authority helmsman for creating the time out of his busy schedules to interface with the phase 2 and phase 3 leaderships to discuss critical issues concerning the development of the Niger Delta region.

While congratulating the Niger Delta Basin Development Authority helmsman on his appointment, Gen. Elaye prayed to God to give Hon. Amgbare the requisite ideas, knowledge, strength and courage to achieve the desired goals in office.

In his remarks, the NDBDA boss, Hon. Ebitimi Amgbare expressed profound gratitude to the phase 2 and phase 3 leaders of the presidential amnesty programme to discuss pertinent issues concerning the development of the Niger Delta.

While stating the importance of dialogue in fostering unity and peace among the people, he stated the great need for the collaboration of the development authority and other intervention agencies including stakeholders towards the growth and development of the region basically.

The NDBDA boss while reiterating the development authority’s readiness under his leadership in reviving and improving existing government investments, stated his plans to revive the Peremabiri Rice Farm in Southern-Ijaw, Bayelsa State.

The basin development authority helmsman assured the ex-agitators of the agency’s readiness to work closely with them to ensure the accomplishment of the desired goals, as different programmes will commence in no distant time.
