The Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Chief Samuel Ogbuku PhD, has debunked a poster circulating on social media portraying him as a aspirant for the office of the Governor of Bayelsa State in 2027.

Hot News gathered that the poster tagged, “The Youths Mandate 2027” of Dr. Samuel Ogbuku as Governor and Hon. Michael Bless Olomu as Deputy Governor, sparked so many reactions on social media platforms.

In a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Media, Dr. Willie Etim, the NDDC bos debunked having any connection with the poster or its sponsor(s), noting that at no time has he declared any political ambition or intention to contest for the governorship seat of Bayelsa.

Ogbuku reiterated his unwavering commitment and focus to the responsibilities attached to his current office as the Managing Director of the NDDC in implementing the commission’s mandate in spreading President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

The Managing Director appealed to the general public to disregard the poster, and any related materials of the circulated poster, noting that the poster did not emanate from his office, adding that he is focused on serving the people of the Niger Delta.
