The National Coordinator and Leader of the Otita Force Transformation Movement Worldwide, Hon. Prince Gabriel Jonah, has condemned in strong terms of the purported suspension of critical stakeholders and leaders of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State.

In a statement issued by the group Media Assistant, Mr Tari Agai, said despite the fact that the purported suspension was an exercise in futility, due to the legally stripped authorities responsible for the suspension, the actions of the illegal authorities are highly condemnable.

The Group National Coordinator, Hon. Gabriel Jonah, is wondering if those responsible for the purported suspension, are actually ready and prepared to win any election for the APC, that he defected from the PDP to the APC, with the sole intention of winning elections for the party.

He said he met a sad situation where party members were seriously afraid of defectors coming to take over party executive offices from them, stressing that the party is where it is currently as a result of such mentality, rather than working together in building the party.

Hon. Jonah said the APC in Bayelsa State, is operated and managed like a private enterprise with malicious characters, where there is no avenue for the consideration of creative ideas, which has greatly affected the party in the state political system.

He said the Bayelsa State APC at this point in time, is expected to take steps of genuine reconciliation, and confidence building measures of party members, rather than deepening the prolonged crisis, which has greatly affected the party.

The national group leader stated that the reason why the ruling party in the state, the PDP, is in control of the political system (governance) in the state, is as a result of constant engagement in reconciling aggrieved party members, and even lobbying opposition members for support.

Hon. Gabriel Jonah urged the general public to disregard the purported suspension of the said stakeholders and leaders of the APC in the state, who only have the genuine desire to build the party, towards winning future general elections in the state.

He added that those responsible for the purported suspension, are only fighting a lost battle, knowing fully well that the political tide is fast turning against them with the dwindling support that is starring at them in the face in recent time.
