PDP NWC Suspends Ebonyi State Party Chairman Over Alleged Anti-Party Activities In The State
The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended the Chairman of the Party in Ebonyi State, Mr Okorie Tochukwu Okoroafor over alleged anti-party activities.
The suspension decision came at a national working committee emergency meeting held on Friday 27th of January, 2023.
According to a statement issued by the Party National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba announced the suspension decision, which the national working committee extensively reviewed the conduct and activities of the suspended party chairman.
The statement explained that the action was taken pursuant to Sections 29 (2) (b) and 57 (3) of the Constitution of the People’s Democratic Party (as amended in 2017).
The suspended party chairman, Mr Okorie Tochukwu Okoroafor has been referred to the party’s disciplinary committee for further actions.
