Sagbama Acting Chairman Holds Strategic Security Meeting with Security Heads

The Acting Chairman of Sagbama Local Government Area, Hon. (Mrs) Diepriye Roseline Yankee-Robinson, on Friday held a strategic security meeting with heads of security agencies serving in the local government area, on situation report.

The meeting, held at the Council Conference Room, was attended by all serving security heads in Sagbama LGA to deliberate on ways to strengthen the security architecture to enhance the safety of residents and communities across the area.

The Acting Chairman appreciated the security heads for their commitment and assured them of the council’s continued support and cooperation in promoting peace and security throughout the local government area.

Mrs Yankee-Robinson emphasized the importance of collaboration, timely information sharing and effective coordination among security agencies and the local government council in addressing security challenges.

She reaffirmed the council’s commitment to supporting security agencies in the discharge of their responsibilities, and called for sustained synergy to maintain peace, security and stability in the local government area respectively.

The security heads assured the council leadership of their continued engagement and collaboration with the local government council and community leaders towards strengthening the security architecture in the local government area.

They emphasised the importance of stronger collaboration between security agencies, the local government and communities in maintaining peace, protecting lives and property, and creating a safer environment for residents across Sagbama LGA.
