He was a backbone to Chief Melford Okilo’s government, he was Chief Alamieyeseigha’s S.A Political and he remained loyal to him till death, when I became governor, he was one of my father’s and advisers, I gave him prominence as he is one of the elders and Father I can count on. His patriotism, involvement in Ijaw affairs and Niger Delta issues is commendable. We have truly lost an elder statesman and a leader.
