Dickson Congratulates New Service Chiefs, Urges Them On Service To The Nation

The Senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District, His Excellency, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson has congratulated the new service chiefs as the Senate screen and confirm their nomination by President Ahmed Bola Tinubu.

Senator Dickson who joined other Senators for the screening and confirmation of the new service chiefs as requested by the President, described them as very qualified and experienced security officers.

The federal lawmaker soliciting for the public full support of the new service chiefs, urged them to be properly coordinated and patriotic in the discharge of their duties fully knowing well that their loyalty is to the nation and the constitution.

The statement read in parts: “Today, I joined other Senators as we screened the Chief of Defence Staff, who led the Service Chiefs and the Chief of Defence Intelligence, to be screened and confirmed as requested by the President, following the announcement of their nominations a few days ago.

“During the screening and the interactive closed-door session, I found them to be very qualified and experienced. We only hope for fuller support for them and urge them to be properly coordinated, nationalistic, and patriotic in the discharge of their duties, knowing that their loyalty is to the nation and the Constitution.

“We wish them well.
