Senator Dickson Congratulates Sen. Diri & Sen. Ewhrudjakpo On Second Tenure Inauguration

The Former Governor and Senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District, His Excellency, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, has congratulated His Excellency, Sen. Douye Diri and Sen. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo on their second tenure inauguration as Governor and Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State.

The Former Governor and Senator made this known through his official facebook handle, expressed his total readiness and commitment to continuously support the Governor and the Deputy, as he has always done since the inception of their first tenure which has successfully ended.

Senator Dickson while wishing the Governor, Senator Douye Diri and his Deputy, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo a successful second tenure in office, urged the duo to continue to build on the gains of the first tenure towards the growth and development of the state basically.

Senator Dickson expressed profound gratitude for the several political leaders, traditional leaders, elders, women and youths regardless of political party affiliation across the nation that attended the second tenure inauguration of the Governor and the Deputy Governor basically.

As a well respected leader in the state, the Ijaw nation and beyond, Senator Dickson called on all critical stakeholders across the state and beyond to continue their unrelenting support for the governor and the government to have a successful second tenure in office as expected.

While appreciating dignitaries and everyone that attended the second tenure inauguration of the Governor and his Deputy, Senator Dickson wished everyone safe journey back to their respective destinations.

The statement reads: “This morning, I joined several Leaders, elders and dignitaries to attend the inauguration and oath taking ceremony of the Governor of Bayelsa State, His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri and his Deputy, Senator Lawrence Ewrhudjakpor for his second term and I wish them a successful Second tenure to build on the gains of the first tenure.

“I call for support and prayers for their success as I have always done.

“I join the state government to thank all who came and wish them safe journey back home.
