Senator Dickson Paid New Year Visit To Ijaw National Leader Pa E.K Clark
The Former Governor and Senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District, His Excellency, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, paid a New Year visit to the National leader of the Ijaw Nation, Pa E.K Clark at his residence in Abuja, as a usual practice that he does on yearly basis.
The former Governor and Senator made this known through his official facebook handle, described the Ijaw national leader as an elder statesman who has being playing fatherly roles to many traditional and political leaders across the Ijaw nation and the nation at large.
Senator Dickson who at arrival met the Ijaw national leader, Pa E.K Clark presiding over a meeting of the leadership of Pan Niger Delta Forum and the leadership of various indigenous groups, appreciated them for their relentless efforts fighting for a restructured Nigeria for the betterment of all Nigerians.
While encouraging and appreciating the President of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo, President of Middle Belt and representatives of Afenifere for their continuous recognition, support and working relationship with the Ijaw national leader, Pa E.K Clark, Senator Dickson urged them not to relent in fighting for a better Nigeria regards of distractions and challenges.
Senator Dickson after presenting the new year homage to the Ijaw national leader, Pa E.K Clark as a usual practice, received overwhelming fatherly blessings from the Ijaw national leader and other leaders of the various indigenous groups who were present in the meeting.
While contributing to the ethnic nationalities deliberations on pertinent issues towards an equal and all-inclusive better Nigeria, Senator Dickson reiterated his commitment towards nation-building, hosted all the ethnic nationalities and geopolitical groups as Governor.
Senator Dickson thanking the Ijaw national leader, Pa E.K Clark for his relentless contributions, reiterated his commitments and efforts at the forefront of the campaigns for a restructured and all-inclusive Nigeria for the betterment and benefit of all Nigerians.
The statement reads: “Today, in company of my aides I visited our National leader, Elder and Father Pa E.K Clark at his residence as I normally do for New Year homage and consultations.
“It was a happy coincidence as I met him presiding over the usual meetings of Southern Nigeria and Middle Belts Forum made up of the Pandef Leadership, President General of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo, President General of Middle Belt and representatives of Afenifere, presided over by Pa Clark. They were into serious deliberations for the good of Nigeria in our collective quest for an inclusive and egalitarian Nigeria.
“I presented my new year homage to our father and as usual he was very gracious in blessing me as other leaders did same. I received their blessings and contributed briefly to their deliberations.
“In my remarks, I thanked them for recognizing, working and supporting the leadership of our dear father E.K Clark all these years. I recognised their tireless efforts in fighting for a restructured, equal and inclusive Nigeria. I urged them not to relent no matter the frustrations and challenges.
