‎A leading social group in Bayelsa State, TAMARANKURO EMPIRE congratulates the immediate past Chief of Staff, Government House, Hon. Peter Pereotubo Akpe Ph.D, on his confirmation and swearing-in as the new Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State.

‎This follows his nomination, screening, confirmation and swearing into office.

‎In a statement issued on behalf of the Emperor and Leader, Tamarankuro Abalaru as well as the executive and members of the Empire, the Chairman, Dr. Ayakeme Tonkiri, described the appointment as well-deserved, citing Dr. Akpe’s experience, competence, and understanding of governance as qualities that make him fit for the office.

‎The Chairman Dr. Ayakeme Tonkiri emphasized that Dr. Akpe’s legislative background, administrative acumen as Chief of Staff, and involvement in inter-ministerial coordination, policy implementation, monitoring, and strategic planning have equipped him with the capacity to effectively support the Governor in the discharge of his responsibilities.

‎Dr. Peter Akpe, who is also a Patron of the Great TAMARANKURO EMPIRE, is a former Majority Leader of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly and hails from Edebebiri in Sagbama Local Government Area.

‎He holds a doctorate degree in Educational Management and is also a pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
