The Publicity Secretary of APC National Youth Council South-South Zone, Comrade Preye Bagou, has passed a vote of confidence on the Interim Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Maj-General Barry Tariye Ndiomu (Rtd), described him as the best man for the task considering his wealth of knowledge and experience as a retired military general.
Bagou while addressing newsmen of hotnews in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State Capital commends the tremendous performance of the amnesty boss since assumption in office, engaging critical stakeholders in the Niger Delta in round-table discussions building cordial working relationships primarily geared towards achieving the objectives of the presidential amnesty programme.
Bagou described the interim administrator as a great man with an outstanding personality with the requisite ideas, knowledge and experience as a retired military general that will competently and proactively manage the affairs of the programme to accomplish the needed results within the shortest period of time, which has been the greatest desire of Niger Deltans.
“It is on record that the amnesty boss for the short period in office has met with major critical stakeholders in the Niger Delta to reposition, restructure, reorganize and transform the presidential amnesty programme to accomplish the needed results of the establishment of the programme in the lives of the people of the Niger Delta region.
Bagou described Ndiomu as an astute administrator who is a public servant per excellent with so much wealth of knowledge and experience, a patriotic Nigerian with an untainted and incorruptible track record of service delivery to the nation for decades as a retired military general in the Nigerian army, which is quite commendable.
According to him, the interim administrator has made laudable achievements in less than two months in office, which deserves a commendation, and there is a great need to pass a vote of confidence on the amnesty boss, Maj-General Barry Tariye Ndiomu (Rtd), adding that the programme will record laudable achievements under his management.
“It is not farfetched that the interim administrator is a technocrat with the requisite knowledge and experience in public service over the decades which will be employed in managing the presidential amnesty programme to proactively tackle the infrastructural challenges confronting the peace loving people of the Niger Delta region.
Bagou used the medium to call on all critical stakeholder of the Niger Delta region and well-meaning Nigerians at large to join hands unanimously and collaborate with the amnesty boss to reposition, restructure, reorganize and transform the presidential amnesty programme to achieve the desired results of the establishment of the programme, which is of utmost importance.
