The Spokesman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council, Daniel Bwala has insisted that the G-5 Governors of the Party met with the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, Bola Tinubu in London.

Hot News gathered that the APC Presidential Candidate, Bola Tinubu had denied holding a meeting with Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, and Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State, ahead of the presidential election.

But speaking during an Arise TV morning programme, the PDP presidential campaign council spokesman, Bwala revealed that Tinubu met with the five aggrieved PDP governors in London, but turned down the unrealistic demands of the governors.

When asked about the meeting, Bwala said, “They met at Kensington in London, but the meeting ended with deadlock as a result of unrealistic numerous demands.

“One of the reasons that the meeting in London did not pull through is their alleged demands; the demands that the G-5 governors came with could not be accommodated given the fact that the damage that they thought they were capable of doing had not happened after five months.

“Now we have made concerted efforts to reconcile the aggrieved G-5 governors, and the doors of reconciliation are still open.

“There is no part of the structure of this party that has not engaged with Wike and his group in a bid to reconcile.

“One of their demands is for the PDP national chairman, senator Ayoriochia Ayu to resign, which we have gone through this path, and why we think it can’t happen.

“Nobody can ask him to resign unless he chooses to resign; he was elected by the party and there are constitutional provisions and guidelines that led to his emergence as national chairman.
