No Govt Has Favored The People Of Ekeremor More Than Dickson’s Administration – Group Tell Ekeremor CDC Chairman & Paramount Ruler
Bayelsa West PDP Stakeholders Forum has cautioned the people of Ekeremor Local Government Area to appreciate and commend the different legacy developmental projects and basic social amenities attracted to the Local Government Area by the Former Governor, Chief Henry Seriake Dickson.
The prestigious group pointed out that the people of Ekeremor local government area benefited so much from the Senator Dickson’s led Bayelsa State Government more than any administration in the political history of the state, since the practice of democracy in the country in 1999.
The group spokesman, Chief Pereyibofa Wilson commended the former governor and senator representing the senatorial district for attracting so many developmental projects to the local government area, which has impacted positively in the lives of people.
Chief Pereyibofa Wilson while addressing newsmen in Yenagoa, the state capital condemned the statements of the CDC Chairman and the Paramount Ruler of Ekeremor Community, as an act of ingratitude and insult to the former governor and senator representing the senatorial district.
The group spokesman stated that the CDC Chairman, Mr Ebiakpo Seidu and the Paramount Ruler, His Royal Highness, Chief Gbaseimor Agbodo are expected to appreciate the good works of the former governor and senator representing the senatorial district, as people who benefited from the restoration government.
The Sagbama-Ekeremor road is one major legacy project in the history of Bayelsa State, which was initiated by the restoration government led by Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, after different administrations of neglect, has attracted so much development to the local government area and the senatorial district.
Chief Wilson pointed out that the people of Ekeremor Local Government Area had the highest number of political appointments, infrastructural projects, human capital development programs under Senator Dickson’s led Bayelsa State Government more than any administration in the history of the State.
“The people of Ekeremor benefited so much from Senator Dickson’s led restoration government more than any administration in the history of the State, and as such, the people of Ekeremor should unanimously appreciate the developmental strives of Senator Dickson” he said.
Chief Wilson stated that Senator Dickson laid an unbeatable record of peaceful leadership, infrastructure, human capital development, job creation, good programs and policies of service delivery towards ameliorating the socio-economic status of Bayelsans, Niger Deltans and Nigerians at large.
“It’s an unarguably fact that Senator Dickson laid a solid foundation of legacy developmental projects, policies and programs before the expiration of his tenure as Governor, which Governor Douye Diri is depending and building on since assumption in office in the past three years” he said.
Chief Wilson urged the people of Ekeremor beyond party affiliation to unanimously work together for Senator Dickson’s reelection, in order to attract more developmental projects and empowerment programs to the local government area and the senatorial district at large.
